This poem reminds me of beings at the beach on a cool summer day. You can play in the waves and build sand castles. It also reminds me of the camp I go to CJL. You get to spend the night in tents and have over nights were you make your own food over a fire. There is also a sliding rock that is so much fun to do. You have activities like archery, sailing, hiking, tennis, pool fun, and much more. Ive been going for 4 years and its great.

This poem reminds me of every single summer, when I go to Capital City Club every day, from ten in the morning to nine at night. During that time I do swim team and hang out with all of my many friends. I would always go swimming all day, but we did many other things with each other as well. We also go to the snack bar and get lunch or dinner, or just stay in there and talk to the maintenance or the people working there during adult swim. We would also play man hunt all around the pool, in the buildings, ontop of the buildings, around the pool, at the tennis courts, around the lake, and on the golf course. All of these are loads of fun, but the most fun of the all is fishing. I would go in the morning almost every day and fish in the lake, and when swimming wasn't any fun I would fish. I would either fish by myself, with my friends, or with my brother, and sometimes him and his friends. One time I went with John Rex to a fishing tournament on the lake at Capital City and we were switching lures and my lure got stuck in my finger and I had to take it out with plyers and it killed. We almost won the tournament, until someone came by with a giant cooler filled with fish, and he cought all of those fish where the judge told us we couldn't go, so John Rex and I both got 100 dollars stolen from us because someone else had cheated.

This poem reminds me of my old camp in the summer called Camp Greystone. It was a spend the night camp in North Carolina that was 3 weeks long that I would go to with my friends. You did multiple activities each day. I remember it was always so pretty up there and we had the best weather, because we were in the mountains, where the air is fresh. This poem expresses what summer is like being free, having fun, and playing around. I remember one time i was rushing to my next activity and i fell on the concrete and cut my knee! It hurt really bad and i still have a scar from it. Camp was always fun and the highlight of my summer.
